Rationale/Introduction

Rationale;
I am planning to make a track in the same style as one of my favourite genres and perform it live in front of people. The genre that I chose to create from my favourite genres is UK Drill/trap depending on which genre it turns out to be. I want to plan, create and perform a track of my chosen genre live using loops I have created myself. I will also include research from primary and secondary sources about the genre I have chosen including a couple of songs from that genre, the instrumentation used, the tempo etc. I will also include references for my primary and secondary sources of research including websites, magazines etc for my performance of the genre and also include these same type of sources and the references for them for when I write my Risk Assessment. I might also write and record lyrics to put into my live performance. At the end of this I hope to gain some experience in Live Performances and maybe clean up the track and record my lyrics on it and then release it as an official track. At the end of each week I will look back and evaluate my progress throughout that week and see if I have achieved my milestone and SMART targets for that week.

My main aim for this project is to perform live and promote it along with the rest of my group to give more exposure to myself as an artist and I also hope to gain some experience in Live Performances and maybe clean up the track and record my lyrics on it and then release it as an official track.
